A.    VISA ON ARRIVAL SCHEME (FOR GPDRR 2022 DELEGATES/PARTICIPANTS ONLY)

 

 

In accordance with Directorate General of Immigration Letter dated 27 April 2022, GPDRR participants can apply for Visa on Arrival in Bali and Jakarta. To obtain the VoA, participants must meet following criterias:

 

1.          Able to present following documents:

1)          Diplomatic/Service/Ordinary Passport that is valid and will remain valid for at least 6 month beyond the date of entry Indonesian territory;

2)          Roundtrip tickets or continuing ticket to other destination;

3)          Proof of payment for visa upon arrival (IDR 500,000);

4)          Insurance, in accordance to the regulation from the Covid-19 Task Force

5)          Invitation letter to attend The 7th Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction 2022, issued by the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB).

 

2.          This VoA scheme are not applicable for journalists

 

3.          Participants need to arrive in Indonesia before May 28th, 2022

B.    VISA EXEMPTION

 

 

Diplomatic and service passport holders may refer to the agreement between the Government of Indonesia and several countries on Mutual Visa Exemption which can be accessed through: https://kemlu.go.id/portal/en/read/32/halaman_list_lainnya/pelayanan-visa-diplomatik-dan-dinas. Delegates and participants with diplomatic or service passport from countries on the list may enter Indonesia without a visa. However, they must bring the required documents above (no. A.3 to A.9) and show them to the immigration officer upon arrival at the point of entry. Only delegates with complete required documents are given approval to enter Indonesia.

 

 

C.    VISA APPLICATION AT INDONESIAN EMBASSIES/CONSULATES

 

Diplomatic and service passport holders with nationalities from countries that do not have Mutual Visa Exemption Agreement with Indonesia can bring the required documents to the nearest Indonesian Embassy or Consulate General to obtain a diplomatic/service visa.

 

Visa fee of IDR 2.000.000 will not be charged to Diplomatic/Service passport and United Nations Laissez Passer holders.

 

 

All diplomatic/service passport holders are required to prepare the following documents:

1.     Visa Application Form

         Please contact the nearest Indonesian embassies or consulates to obtain your visa application form. The list of Indonesian embassies/consulates can be accessed in https://kemlu.go.id/portal/en/page/29/kedutaan_konsulat

2.          2 identical passport-style photos (photos should be 4x6 cm in size, portrait mode, with a plain white background and printed on high-quality paper)

3.          Official GP2022 invitation letter. Note that this letter will be sent by BNPB after approval of GP2022 registration through the Indico system.

4.          Approved accreditation/registration from the GP2022 Secretariat

5.          Valid passport that will remain valid for at least 6 (six) months beyond the date of entry in Indonesian territory.

6.           Proof of return flight ticket to home country or other planned destination

7.          Certificate of a complete dose of COVID-19 vaccination

         To qualify under the fully vaccinated status, a person must have received all recommended doses in their primary series of COVID-19 vaccine, a booster dose is not required. The Indonesian government accepts COVID-19 vaccines within WHO Emergency Use Listings (EUL) as well as Gamaleya (Sputnik V), CanSinoBio (As5-nCoV (Convidecia)), Anhui Zhifei Longcom (Zifivax ZF2001), and BioKangtai (Kconecavac).

D.    OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

 

1.          All individuals entering Indonesia are obliged to bring a health certificate declaring Covid-19 negative status based on RT-PCR test taken no later than 2 x 24 hours prior to departure. The certificate must be issued by a competent health authority from the original country.

3.          Family members who wish to accompany the official GP Delegation are required to follow the applicable laws and regulation pertaining entry to Indonesia.
